The right to bear arms

The right to bear arms has been an issue for years now. And it always seems to come up during times of elections, not just every four years. Passing a law that would enable people to carry concealed weapons would not make things of today any easier. Some of the example crimes would be more murders, robbing, hate crimes, and road rage crimes. The audience that I would target would people that live in the metropolitan area of Missouri and Kansas that were victims of crimes. If the concealed weapons laws were passed then there would be a lot more unstable people without criminal records running out to get weapons. Or maybe even criminals that did time in prison years ago and had charges for whatever expunged from their records trying to get a license to carry a weapon. A lot more households would have weapons, which means a lot more kids would get hurt in their own homes. Or kids could get mad at one of their parents and try to pull the gun on them. So you see the concealed weapons law should not even be considered for approval.
